Permanent position

Salary depends on experience  Scale 4 £18,070 pa to £20,138 pro-rata

Scale 5 (£20,661 to £22,658) depending upon relevant experience.

Full time 30 hours per week (This can be flexible)

5 days 9.00 a.m. – 4.00 p.m. (This can be flexible)

39 weeks (Term time including training days)

 

Required to start: As soon as possible (April/May 2019)

 

We are looking for a Scale 4 Finance Manager to work as part of our Administration Team. To support the school by managing the finances with the object of providing the most effective and efficient service to the school.  

 

Main responsibilities

Dealing with all the day to day financial matters, including correspondence, orders, invoices and payments, monitoring expenditure and budgetary performance to ensure that spending is within approved limits and in accordance with adopted procedures and regulations.

  • Ensuring that proper accounts are kept, maintaining and inputting data onto computerised financial management systems (FMS6).
  • Ensuring that financial procedures are up to date, accurate and comply with relevant legislation, procedure & policy.

 We are looking for someone with experience of school financial management and experience of FMS6. We have a degree of flexibility and will consider practical alternatives to the working hours.
