Maths is a major form of communication in the modern world and we aim to help our children enjoy the subject and develop confidence in their ability to use it in a range of different settings. Our children spend at least one hour per day working on maths activities that help the children further understand the concepts of Time, Space, Shape, Money, Measures, Algebra and Graphical Representation.
The documents on this page will help you understand what is expected of your child in each year group. This guide explains the National Curriculum and gives a clear outline of the new content, by year group, with some background information about how the curriculum and assessment protocol works. There is also a parental guide to the key vocabulary and the calculation methods used in each year group (White Rose resources).
